My research
I am working with brackett gamma images of the Carina region with HAWK-I in order to search for new embedded young massive stellar objects.
We want to study the young stellar content in Cygnus OB-2 and in M17. We have a sample of objects selected with UKIDSS and with infrarred photometry respectively.
We would like to study the multiplicity of these objects to find more about their origin.
How are massive stars born?
Are they formed in groups or in isolation?
These are the main questions to address with our study.
